However, a return to the small screen could be imminent according to Dr Ranj who previously worked on the weekday show as a medical expert.
‘Of course she will come back to TV, she’s too good not to,’ he shared.
He added to Closer: ‘I don’t know where or what show, but she’s so good at it, it would be a shame for her to back away completely.’
Perhaps we could see her continue to host Dancing on Ice, which first started back in 2006. She presented the skating competition alongside Phillip Schofield, 61, who sensationally quit This Morning after admitting to lying about an affair with a young colleague at the broadcaster.
Stephen Mulhern has already confirmed he’s in talks with the broadcaster to be a Dancing On Ice co-host after having a ‘great time’ when he stood in for Phillip whilst he had Covid.
‘We are talking about it,’ he explained to the Daily Mail. ‘But I promise you now that nothing is confirmed but if it happens, it will be absolutely amazing… if it doesn’t, look, it doesn’t. I promise you I would tell you if we had it confirmed at this point.’
Dr Ranj, 44, also revealed that he’s checked in with Holly to make sure she was okay.
‘I messaged Holly just to check she was okay. Everything that’s happened with her has been really tough. We all reached out and just want to make sure she’s all right. She replied and she’s good.’
He continued: ‘Obviously it’s a really difficult place for her to be in and she made a really difficult decision, but the kind thing to do is to reach out and just check in.’
This Morning has welcomed a series of presenters to fill Holly’s place on the sofa in order to keep the show going.
Beloved TV star Cat Deeley was fronting Monday’s episode alongside Rylan Clark and the duo brought back SMTV: Live’s Wonkey Donkey as an extra bonus during Spin To Win, and it was every bit as chaotic as we remembered.
